- 'Social Trends', published annually for more than 30 years as a compendium of social and economics data with commentary to help paint a portrait of Britain. Described as 'The biography of Britain' it features data on education, employment, pollution, travel, health and crime
- 'Regional Trends', has also been produced for more than 30 years with a few short breaks. It brings data to a regional level, ideal for researching locations and making comparisons across the nine English regions, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland
- 'Family Spending', an annual look at the findings of the long running Expenditure and Food Survey giving an insight on what people spend their incomes on, from housing to heating, from food to clothes
- 'Health Statistics Quarterly', a journal looking at the latest trends in the health of the population alongside the most up to date tables on deaths, births, cancer and abortion rates
- 'Population Trends', another quarterly journal focusing on the most topical research into population and demography estimates, including articles on internal and international migration, one-parent families, marriage and cohabitation
- 'Travel Trends', an annual online report taken from the International Passenger Survey which gives an insight into travellers from and to the UK, where they go and how much they spend
- 'Economic and Labour Market Trends', a monthly journal building an up-to-date, comprehensive and unique statistical picture of the UK economy and labour market
ONS produces a series of other publications appearing prominently on the website. For example the social focus series, and the popular Personal Inflation Calculator. In addition, there are regular topic-based summaries which help explain the 400 news and data releases ONS makes each year.
