Peggy Causer and Neil Park make up the South East regional team and are located with the South East Intelligence Network within the regional development agency in Guildford.
Peggy and Neil are working with a variety of organisations and people across the South East to improve the quality and accessibility of the Office for National Statistics (ONS) regional and subregional data; one aspect of carrying out the recommendations of the Allsopp Report. Both aim to help partners with their data requirements, analysis and interpretation of government information with a view to improving the regional evidence base which underpins strategies and performance evaluation.
They are keen to meet with users of government data across the region and are happy to hear from anyone who feels they would benefit from the team's expertise, whether it's advice on data sources or appropriateness of analyses. By developing a better understanding of the uses for ONS information they hope to enhance the presentation and content of what is delivered.
