North East
The North East regional statistician team comprises Allan Worthy (Regional Statistician) and Ian Gouldson (Regional Analyst).
Allan and Ian will be helping to implement the recommendations of the Allsopp Report and improve the regional evidence base used to underpin regional strategies and performance evaluation across the North East and its sub regions. They will be working with partner organisations to improve the quality of the key economic and labour market data held by ONS, facilitating partner organisations access to these resources to better meet their information needs.
They are keen to meet with users of government data across the North East region and receive feedback on the usefulness of the data and any gaps that exist. Allan and Ian are co-located with the North East Regional Information Partnership (NERIP) at Stella House, Newburn Riverside, Newcastle-upon-Tyne.
