Latest Regional Gross Value Added estimates
On 14 December 2007 the latest Regional Gross Value Added estimates were released for the Nomenclature of Units for Territorial Statistics (NUTS) one to three areas of England and the constituent countries of the United Kingdom (UK). To find out more visit the Regional Gross Value Added .
Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) 2007
The latest revision of the UK SIC will come into effect on 1 January 2008. This is a major revision, motivated by changes in the world economy and the growing importance of service activities over the last fifteen years. Revisions to migration and population statistics
ONS is undertaking a major programme of work to improve the population statistics it produces. Some changes were made for the mid-2006 population estimates (released in August 2007).
