Tom Knight and Lorraine Robinson are located within the London Development Agency’s CEO – Corporate Strategy directorate. They have a broad remit to work across London with statistical stakeholders to help improve the evidence base for policymaking. They work alongside the directorate’s Economic Analysis team.
Since arriving in 2007, the London team has been driving forward a programme of work to address the key issues for London raised by stakeholders – for example: reconciliation of the two official measures of London employment, which are taken from different perspectives.
The team has also been involved in collaborative projects; co-writing and providing input into the annual Focus on London report produced by GLA's Data Management and Analysis Group (DMAG), and; providing advice and support to the LDA Economic Analysis team in producing London's Economic Development Strategy.
