Supported by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) Committee on Statistics, a workshop was organised to launch a project for the improvement of the measurement of non-market output in the National Accounts. The project will provide detailed international guidelines for the development of volume measures of non-market output, in particular education and health. This will draw on OECD's existing specialised network of national accountants and experts from health, education and other branches of government.
