Following on from 2004’s conference in Belfast, the next one-day conference took place in Cardiff and looked at further developments in crime and criminal justice statistics in the UK.


Topics covered included: 

  • Use of Local Data: GIS Mapping

  • Violent Crime and the Media

  • Civil Statistics

  • The Development of the Drug Harm Index

  • Organised and International Crime

The conference was free to those attending (including coffee/lunch), although delegates needed to fund their own travel and overnight accommodation/subsistence. Places were limited.
