Developing a vision for the Integrated Population Statistics System
The vision for an Integrated Population Statistics System (IPSS) was set out in an Office for National Statistics (ONS) consultation document in October 2003. It suggested using a mixture of registers, administrative and survey sources to provide information which has traditionally been provided by the Census.
